Hi All,

Its been over 12 months and i still have not heard anything back from UKVI regarding my application. Tier 1 Entrepreneur 5 years plus one year ILR.

In the meanwhile i have asked MP to write but received same standard letter of checks being conducted with external agencies(Character).

i have asked for my SAR, which they have sent the electronic copy of record held online, not post. No issue in that either.
I have had my DBS check done via my employer, which i have sent to them to speed up the process, but still no update.
I have raised a complaint with UKVI via email but no response.
I rang them last week and they say we cannot escalate any cases due to backlog.
Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

I am also thinking about making another application and withdraw this one once i receive the decision on other one and vice versa?

FYI- our extension for TIER 1 took around 7 months and we had an interview. i was part of team. My other team member got his naturalisation afterwards in normal time so don't know if there is something to worry about and how to get it sorted?

By the grace of Almighty Allah, I have finally received approval letter from HO after over 13 months now.

Thanks to the people on this forum for all the information during this journey. On a side note, the forum has become very quite lately and it is almost difficult to get any response from admins and posts get ignored?

I had to write to MP, send multiple letters in post, raise a number of complaints online in UKVI website and would get the same standard response. Also requested my SAR.

The last thing which worked for me was PAP sent online. So anyone waiting over a year can give this a try.

By PAP, do you mean judicial review?

No, i meant pre action protocol done myself and submitted via email due to the undue stress caused by slow processing.

Thank you for that tip, will do the same. I'm waiting for my son's registration as a British citizen for 18 months already. My wife is seriously distressed by this.
