Can the two referral forms be signed one week before the applicant meets the application conditions

Hi folks,

I am eligible to apply for citizenship this weekend but my referees signed the forms last week. Do you think this will affect my application results?

When applying ILR, there is always a 28 days time window so all the documents can be signed 28 days before submitting the application. Unfortunately, I don't see the similar rule for the citizenship application. It seems that everything (including documents) must be signed/made after the application conditions for the application are met. Can someone please shed some light on this?

Thank you.

Regards,
Flint

First of all there is no "28 days early" application - so you must apply on or after the completion of 12 months.
Your referees signing a bit earlier is not an issue - they declare that they know you and there are no issues why you shouldn't naturalise, they are not certifying that you comply with all requirements.
