Hello,

I am a British citizen (10 years long term residence obtained in 2018). My wife has also now got ILR (February 2021). Does she need to wait till Feb 2022 to apply for her citizenship? Also her Indian passport has expired. Does she need to renew her Indian passport before applying for British citizenship?

Wife can apply immediately she has her ILR BRP - no need to wait 12 months. Your path to British citizenship is not relevant for naturalisation. Application can be made with an expired passport - in that case she needs to provide additional documents proving residency since the expiry of her passport. This could be P60s, Council Tax bills or other official government documents/correspondence.
