Hi,

I tried to read existing topics to get answer, But i'm not successful. So, posting this query. Apologies, If it is repeated.

I hold my British passport (Obtained ILR+1 year route)
My daughter, aged 13 (Came to UK on Aug 2015). She hold ILR (Will be 1 year by 5th November).

Under which category, I need to apply her Naturalization. I'm bit confused with the wording "your mother or father was a British citizen when you were born". She born in 2008 and we were not in UK by that time?

And for documentation, what kind of proofs required to show she lived with us for last 3/5 years?

Thanks,
Siva

Daughter needs to be registered (MN1) as she was born outside the UK - at the "discretion of the Home Secretary" section 3(1).
There are no requirements to prove wait or residency periods, i.e. no 3/5 years, no residency documents required.

They expect Children aged 13 or over to have resided in the UK for at least 2 years, etc.

Thanks for your replies.
My daughter hold ILR (Granted 1 year back) . Will that be enough to showcase her 5 years stay in UK?

2 years is the expected minimum. There should be no problems when showing more than necessary.
