Naturalization Application in process- Need to travel

Dear Member,

I have submitted my application on the 1-5-21 and biometric on 28-5-21. My application is still pending. I have ILR. Can i travel to my country while my appliction is pending? It has been six months but have not heard anything from homeoffice yet. Kindly help

Thank you CR001 for your prompt response. Its been six months i have submitted my application but have not heard anything from them since. Can i contact my MP or should i wait bit more?
