MN1 Form Child Official Identifciation

Hi,

I am completing the MN1 form for my daughter (DOB: 09/2020).

As she was born last year I didnt apply for her passport from Sri Lanka as I wanted to apply for her naturilisation directly. As such she has no official identification from any country at the moment. She only has a UK birth certificate and Sri Lankan birth certificate.

As such when filling the form online i did say that she has no official ID documents and when the application asked for a reason I did say "She was born in the UK in 2020 and has not had any identification document. A UK birth certificate can be provided". Is this okay?

Even when I said this at the end in the documents section it tells me "If she does not have a passport then you must provide another officially-issued identity document. This could include an official travel document or national identity card." What can I provide here if she has nothing?

Lastly, for the referees, it says to provide "referee declarations". What is this?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

For referee requirement see this link: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... on_MN1.pdf
I think the UK birth certificate is acceptable, required anyway - note the question says "it could include...".

Application Declaration

Hi,

I am completing the MN1 form for my daughter (1 year old) and at the end there is a declaration to confirm either

"I am the applicant"

or

"I am a representative of the applicant and have been authorised to act on their behalf and have discussed and confirmed the contents of this application with them".

I think I should be selecting the "I am the applicant" am I correct? Or is it the second option? My understanding is you choose the second option if you have a lawyer representing the application etc. (which i dont).

Any help would be much appreciated!
