First Child Passport

Hello mods,
A simple question, I suppose.

I am applying for the first British passport for my child having received the registration certificate.

Just confused about one of the documents requested
any court orders (for example that describe parental responsibility or residency arrangements)

Do I need to send my original marriage certificate or is some other document expected?

Thanks.

"Any court order ..." to me means if there is one. so if you don't have one nothing to add.
The only other document I can think of is the birth certificate, though the application should tell you what you need.

Thanks you alterhase58.
I've been asked to submit only the following documents
  • naturalisation or registration certificate
  • any current or expired passports from other countries that haven’t been cancelled
  • any court orders (for example that describe parental responsibility or residency arrangements)
I will submit only the naturalisation certificate and the existing non-british passport and keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks !

An update:

I was asked to submit the Original Birth Certificate too, which I did.
The British passport has been delivered.
