Marriage while naturalisation application is being reviewed

Hello,
What does it happen if I get married after applying for naturalisation? My girlfriend isn't a UK citizen and doesn't live in the UK. We are considering getting married at the beginning of the next year but aren't sure yet. I am going to submit my naturalisation application in a couple of weeks.
If my marital status changes while my naturalisation application is still being reviewed, would I need to inform the Home Office of the marital status change?
Would marriage to a non-UK citizen living outside the UK increases the chances of my application getting rejected?
Many thanks

Naturalisation isn't an immigration application - your intended wife's status (in the UK or elsewhere) or marriage itself should not be a problem.
Your application is individual to you. Don't believe this has to be advised to UKVI whilst they are processing your application.

There is no benefit, immigration or otherwise, to a non-British citizen marrying a British citizen compared to the non-British citizen marrying somebody on ILR/other forms of Settled Status.

Even if you were to make them aware, it would have no impact on your naturalisation application.
