Home Office letter for Citizenship ceremony

Hi all,

My wife has received an invitation from our council for her citizenship ceremony next week. However, she has not received her Home Office letter yet. Is this letter really mandatory (it is mentioned so on the invitation letter)? If yes, can someone please advise what we can do to get the letter in time? We have already contacted Nationality_Enquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and
NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk last week, but no response from them yet.

Thanks,
K.

They don't send letters anymore... rarely they send emails now.

They send emails. did she get an email confirming this? if so, take that email with you on an iPad or your phone and show them that.

I meant to say rarely they send 'letters' now...

I was in same situation as yours, I received ceremony letter from council first, received invitation letter just a day before ceremony, I would say just wait, and in mean time email council that you haven't received invitation letter.
