The only reply that you'd get from the HO is to wait!
Options you have:
1- Contact your local MP.
2- Send a PAP to Home Office.

Below is the response from HO
Thank you for your correspondence dated requesting progress on your application for naturalisation as a British citizen.
I can confirm that your application is in the process and that decisions on applications are usually made within six months.
I am sorry if your application is taking longer than usual to be processed. As you may be aware, naturalisation is not an automatic process, and we have to make a number of enquiries to ensure that applicants can satisfy the statutory requirements. Some of these enquiries are carried out by external agencies on our behalf and can sometimes take longer than six months to complete.
The Home Office will endeavour to process applications as quickly as possible but in the current circumstances, applications will take longer than normal to process, including applications for British Citizenship. If you have submitted an application and are concerned about missing a deadline to enrol biometrics, provide additional information or take a citizenship ceremony, please be assured that extra time will be allowed, and applications will be held open during this period. No adverse decisions will be made on applications because of delays caused by Coronavirus.
Please be assured that as soon as we are in a position to reach a decision, you will be notified accordingly.
Yours sincerely

I do not what kind of checks HO is doing. i never ever have any criminal record in my life anywhere except one parking ticket plenty which i paid on time and mentioned in my application. Me and my brother applied at the same time as we were on same Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa and till ILR we applied together by using same business detail etc. He has received his British Citizenship approval email in the first week of November 2021. Honestly have no idea what to do next and

I understand your frustration. But it really is too early to take action. You have been waiting 7 months, and that is only one month outside the guidelines, and only 3 weeks since your brother heard that he was successful.

Today i got default reply from Ho
We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month target.
This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision.
We expect to make a decision on your application as soon as possible, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible.
Yours sincerely

There's no issue! They send out these automated, generic emails when they can't make a decision within the agreed time (6 months)!

It's not been agreed by anybody or between anybody (not trying to defend the HO or their standards btw), 6 months is a 'published service standard', i.e. the time it can take for a straightforward application to be processed with no guarantees or commitments. Not great or what we would like to see and, at the end of the day with nationality applications HO can take all the time in the world they want as we're told nationality (by discretion) is a privilege, not a right. In the meantime, all one can do is keep contacting HO, get your MP involved etc

I understand and I agree to a certain extend. However, this is a "business" and also a stream of income for the government. in any business, transparency is the key. this is where the HO has failed for years.
They are quite quick to take the money but as slow as they like to answer questions and/or process applications.
Yes, we are 'told' that nationality is a privilege, not a right but that in itself is wrong!
So, we live here for 20, 30, 40 years... pay tax and contribute like so many other people to build this country... We join forces (police, army, navy) to protect this country... we bring skills and traditions... But when it comes to having normal rights to live, we are treated like we're some sort of strangers!!
They say, home is where your heart is.. for most of us, this is our home because we have family, jobs, friends, kids, partners in this country!! why shouldn't we have the 'right' to be citizens too?!
I'm not having a go at you by the way. just having a rant

This has been explained publicly by the previous Home Secretary - Naturalisation Fee
ca. £500 - Processing/Ceremony Fee
ca. £800 - Subsidy to the Home Office

Exactly my point. and I repeat, 'This is a 'Business' and a stream of income for the government'...
therefore, we are their clients/customers... therefore we should be treated as such... therefore we have every right to be updated every step of the way throughout our application and there's no need for all these cat & mouse game and secrecy and grey areas and generic emails etc etc...
Over 10k applications per month... lets say on average 10k applications per month... that's £8000000... thats £8 million per month in profit for the HO/government...
How difficult is it to create a platform that allows the applicants login and view the progress of their applications?!?! Well, I'm a web/mobile app developer and let me tell you, its not difficult at all.. especially when you earn £8 mil per month.

I think he also said (not verbatim): "Immigrants are expected to support the work of the Home Office".

Good character test, the home office says you have tick the box which ask you on the last page of application. Are you supported any organisation which is declared banned from the UK?
You says No.
The home office inquiry has found you have accepted you are a member of particular group however you mentioned in your asylum interview your group is not bad like think of the home office.
