Dear Immigration board advisors ,

I would appreciate your advice . I and my wife both acquired our British citizenship via the ILR (Tier 2) - 5 years route . We have three kids under 18 all of them born outside the UK and have been living in the UK for more than 5 years now . They are still on ILR dependent visa . Should still I apply for their ILR first or can apply for naturalization directly . I vaguely remember something mentioned about the children following the less privileged parent in their immigration status ?.

kindest Regards

thank you so much . Their permit at the moment says "PBS dependent , leave to remain" so which category should I apply in

- a child - with your family visa
- a child - as a dependant on your parent’s work visa

? thank you

One last question . After acquiring the ILR , will they wait another year before citizenship application or apply straightforward as I did for my wife.? (she applied for citizenship following ILR immediately because I have had my citizenship already ).

regards
