Dear members,

I have applied for citizenship online in mid September 2021 but did my biometric in October 2021.

When does the 6 months time frame start...Is it from the day you submit and pay for the online application....or is it from the day you go have your biometrics done?

I've asked the exact question here and no one answered which means no one knows.

I've contacted UKVI via email and asked the same question along with another question, and they completely ignored this question and answered my other question lol

But from what I gathered, the countdown starts from the moment you make the payment and get a confirmation.

It starts on the day you submit your application online, the bio enrolment is part of the process.

Below is the timeline for my application process:

• 16/08/2021 - AN Application Submitted (Online)

• 28/08/2021 - Biometric Appointment

• 01/11/2021 - Application Succes / Citizenship Ceremony Inviation Received

• 23/11/2021 - Citizenship Ceremony
