Hello Experts

I am looking to apply my son’s British citizenship. I am bit confused on the info available the gov Website.

Can I apply for the citizenship for my son based on the below:

Child DOB : 2012
Child Place of Birth : India
Arrived UK:2015
ILR granted : September,2020
Current citizenship:INDIA
Lived outside UK in last 6 years : No


Parents arrived UK :2015
Parens has the ILR granted : September,2020
Parents citizenship: INDIA
Parents place of Birth : INDIA
Parents lived outside UK in last 6 years : No

Question : 1.Parent(s) do not want to apply for citizenship at the moment so can we go only to apply for child citizenship ?
2. If yes, which application form need to be filled ? MN1 or the normal (https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-in ... r-children). OR any other ?

The child can apply when either parent also applies.

So a parent must apply for the citizenship with the child application…?
