Hi Everyone, on the 20th August I have received my email for my British citizenship ceremony
On the 9th December I have had my ceremony, due to Covid it was online so I could not get my certificate straight away and supposed to be sent by mail. Today I had a call from the council saying that Home office requested my certificate to be sent back to them
Does anyone know why is this ?
Did anyone went through this ?

Ask the council why??

I did and they said that they don’t know and don’t have any details of why. They said that I have to get in touch with Home office

I really don’t understand why and was wondering if thee are others with this situation
