Is a naturalisation certificate enough to prove right to work in U.K.? My wife’s employers are asking for additional documentation. She doesn’t have a passport yet and doesn’t have a BRP anymore of course.

Refer to this government web page:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... le-version
Quote:
"Step 1 for physical check
You must obtain original documents from either List A or List B of acceptable documents for a manual right to work check."
[...]
"10. A certificate of registration or naturalisation as a British citizen, together with an official document giving the person’s permanent National Insurance number and their name issued by a government agency or a previous employer."

Maybe it would be useful to show the employer this weblink?

They are asking to see an original of the naturalisation certificate. However it is with the passport office now. She already showed them a copy, is this enough?

Re the national insurance proof, the employer has been issuing payslips with the NI number on it for 6 months already, is this enough or would they need more?
