I applied for first British passport and I was wondering if I need to prepare for an interview ?
Is this for every aplicant who applies first time ?
How long does it normally take to get the passport

Passports take a few weeks currently, HMPO website states 10 weeks.
Interviews are held at random - if you need to attend one it's for identity purposes only, and there'll be lots of randon questions.
