LIke to confirm that I have been granted ILR on 10 years route after being on Tier 1 entrepreneur for 4 years.

Like to ask few questions regarding the registration of my kids :

My Daughter born in UK : 08/07/2018
My Son Born in India : 10/08/2019
Got ILR on : 20/04/2021
Divorce with wife in next month.

Is it possible for me to register my both the kids a British citizen from India since i am their sole care taker now, will the home office consider to register my son as a British citizen though he is born out side UK. I want to apply for both the application together.

Please let me what would suiatble to do, what forms to use or there is any link or material i can get.

You can register your UK born child on form MN1 as you have ILR. You will need the other parents consent I believe.

Your child born abroad requires ILR before he can be registered as British once you either apply or are British at that point and the other parent holds ILR.

There is no shortcut route for your child born abroad.

My daughter who was born in UK is in India right now, can I register her as a British citizen from india ?

I understand about the son, but can the daughter be brought back to UK as a british citizen by making an application in india?

Yes she can be registered as British while she stays in India also. However note, MN1 application takes way longer abroad rather inside UK.

In addition to registration taking a lot longer when done from abroad, keep in mind that it is a lot harder to arrange referees when abroad (because there are fewer non-family British citizens abroad who can vouch for the identity of the child) AND first British passport applications from the sub-continent can take six months to a year AFTER the registration certificate is received. And as a British citizen, your daughter can’t apply for a visa to enter the UK and will have to apply for a British passport.

Much quicker for the child to undergo the process in the UK.

Hello ! I would like to ask you few queries

I have attained my my settled status of April 2021,

My daughter was born in United kingdom on July 2018 but she went to india on April 2019, she is currently in India right now. Can I apply he to be registered as a Birtish citizen using MN1 form while she is in India?

Also they are asking that in case of the child, if the referee should be a professional like teacher or care assistant who has dealt with the child. Since the child was 8 month old she went to india so I can get a reffree like this.

Please advise.
