BC application Parents detail question

Hi Sirs or Madam
I'm confused with following question on my British Citizenship application;
Parent One’s details
What is this person's relationship to you? Father
Given names NASIR
Family name DIN
Date of birth 10 Jan 1935
Town of birth DELHI
Country of birth – (No option available of British India) What country need to put???
Country of nationality Pakistan (After 1947 father was moved to Lahore Pakistan till death 1992)
Have they always had the same nationality? Which option need to put here ‘YES’ or ‘NO’
Please help me on above request.

Today Delhi is India. So I’d put India.

I think that is ok.
The purpose of the question is to establish whether the applicant may already be British through their parents.

You need to check how many nationalities they had yourself. We can't know the answer. Did they have Indian citizenship? Pakistani citizenship? Both? We can't really say.

You need to check how many nationalities they had yourself. We can't know the answer. Did they have Indian citizenship? Pakistani citizenship? Both? We can't really say.

My father died in 1992 (Pakistani national), myself at the moment Pakistani national.

I think you are safe to state what factual information you have on the nationalities your father held.
In itself it is not a statutory requirement for being approved, even of you didn't know the details (in which case you could say "not known").
