BC application: Other nationality, valid passport missing

Hi all,
I am applying for BC, after ILR. I was originally admitted with and still use Other Nationality passport 1. On earlier immigration applications, I also declared Other Nationality 2, including ON2 passport details, from a different country. In the intervening 5 years, the ON2 passport was lost and never replaced.

The BC form asks about other nationality, answer is Yes, and "Do you have a valid passport?" The true answer to this is no. I do not have the passport, and could not have had it replaced in the last 2 years due to covid travel restrictions. I'd like to believe I could simply follow where the form leads and respond no. However, this strikes me as too easy. Any advice?

I think if you answer "NO" it will ask "why not" and there you can explain. It is not a pre-requisit to have a valid foreign passport.

Thanks for the feedback. I provisionally did answer no, and there was no further question.

You could summarise your situation in a covering note and load with the other documents.
