Lost HO Letter, but have the ILR BRP

Hi all

Applying for wife's Citizenship. She has a ILR BRP which says it is valid till 31 Dec 24. However, at the time we also received a letter to say something like this was only for the card, but obviously she has Indefinite Leave to Remain.

When uploading the docs for the Citizenship application, I would have liked to have uploaded the letter too. But I just cannot seem to find this letter anymore! Wanted to confirm that the letter is not really neccessary, right as they would know what ILR is etc and why is has the 31 Dec 2024 date?

If we uploade just the ILR BRP, this should be sufficient?

Also, while I have you, these are the docs we are uploading if someone wouldn't mind to confirm checklist and we are not missing anything?

- My all pages passport
- Wifes all pages passport
- Consent forms, part 1 & 2
- 2 Referee Forms
- Wifes Degree Cert, Letters from UK NARIC and Visas and Nationality
- Scan of the ILR BRP
- Marriage Certificate

I hear there is no need to upload letters or docs such as bank statements, P60s etc for proof of living in the UK and just the passport will suffice with all pages scanned.

Thank you

Yes, there is no need to upload the letter too.

You only need you British passport biometric page.

Just all pages of her passport, nothing else.

Thank you!

I've already been through the effort of scanning all of my British passport so will just leave it there now!

Thanks for answering!

Docs to the UKVCAS Appt

Hi all

Just noticed that the UKVCAS website says the following:

"Upload your documents
You must upload your supporting documents online before your appointment, and you must bring your original supporting documents with you to your appointment.

We have introduced the option to submit your uploaded documents to UKVI before your appointment takes place. This option will be available on the Document upload page until 48 hours before your appointment."

When they say this do they mean take originals of all the Docs we have uploaded online, such as Referee forms, consent forms etc? or are they just referring to Passport and ILR BRP?

Thank you
