Hi, I got indefinite leave in august 2021. This year in august i want to apply for citizenship. But my question is that in july 2010 I applied asylum and at that day when i appeared in home office for asylum my visit visa was expired.
After that i never did any violation. I never missed any reporting, asylum was refused but i was granted DL in 2013. Will overstaying incident happened 12 years ago in 2010 refuse my nationality application in 2022? Or not?

You're safer to apply in 2023. 10 years from when your stay in the UK was regularised.
You need the good character requirement to be in your favour.
