Baby born to ILR parents. Not taking British passport, what form to use for ILR?

Hi,

Both myself and my wife have ILR granted in 2020. Last year we gave birth to a baby girl and now we are thinking of getting her passport and ILR?

We are citizens of Myanmar which does not accept dual citizenship and for now we have made the decision it to apply for a British passport for our daughter.

I assume she will also have to apply for ILR; ours only expires in 2024, but we don’t know which category or form to use.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Maung

They cannot knowingly grant a British citizen leave.

Apply for a CoE-RoA.

A baby born in the UK to settled parents is British at birth. You cannot get any leave to remain like ILR for a British citizen, as British citizens are NOT subject to immigration control

Thank you so much!!!

For weeks I’ve been pondering over this and since this isn’t a common route taken by many(?) it was hard to find information on it. :)
