Travel Outside UK for a Child Under 16 pending naturalisation

Hi,

I am seeking help please for the following issue.
I applied for my child's naturalization ( age under 16) last August 2021. At that time my naturalization application was also pending but I am now a British Citizen and have my passport.

One of my child's applications for naturalization is still pending ( applied in August 2021). Can he travel outside the UK?

I am worried if his naturalization application is approved while he is away, his BRP will no longer be valid and my question is 'can he enter the UK?' ( he won't have the certificate in hand ). I am saying this as when his brother was approved for naturalization, the brother was issued his citizenship certificate at the same time that was posted to my UK address ( children do not have to take an oath) and the email we got from the home office said that this means the ILR card remains no longer valid). Can someone help, please?
