Hi,

I received my ILR in January, 2022.

I had my first travel using the new BRP - ILR. When I came back to UK, border force did not stamp my entry to UK and said that since you have ILR now, which gives you same rights as UK citizens, I will not put the entry stamp. He did take my biometric and scanned my passport and brp etc on the counter.

Is that the rule? If not, what shall I do?
How do they count 90 days absence from UK (on passport entry and exit stamps)?
If that's the case, what shall I do?

(they put entry stamp of UK on my friend passport a month ago)

Thanks for the help,

I suspect he should have date stamped your passport. He may have been confused between ILR holders and CoE-RoA holders?

However, I think passports may be stamped less now, especially, if people use eGates. Even though they didn’t stamp your passport, they may or may not have records of your entries and exits. Your boarding cards or travel records should also suffice as proof of entry.
