hi everyone

I have received my British passport 6 weeks ago and I have not received my documents.

apart from calling them everyday. what else can I do?

I have paid the 5 pounds for the TNT delivery.

Same exact situation. Im FURIOUS. Passport arrived April 9 and I still haven’t received the supporting docs.

I wrote to my MP after:

- HMPO said my docs were sent on Apr 12 to a courier they have no idea (can’t say if it’s Royal Mail, DHL, TNT, can’t give me a tracking number)
- TNT said they never received a pick-up order (I did pay the £5 for a secure delivery which should come via TNT) from the HMPO after checking my PEX (which you can do online anyway). TNT was rude and vocal after I called them twice and spoke to the same guy, who said “the passport office is lying to you, they haven’t sent us anything and they still have your documents”

The HMPO customer service line is utter jokes. I called at least 10 times and no one was able to help although everyone said they were going to “escalate” this.

I think they have MASSIVE backlogs BEYOND their capability (+ using post covid as an excuse) and I think they haven’t sent supporting documents yet although they’re ready to be sent out.

Try and write your MP to expedite the return of these docs.
