Consent for the Home Office to verify application information

Hello all,

I've started an application for my two sons (6 and 11 years old). The applicant is my youngest and I added the oldest as second applicant to the same application.
I don't understand who the applicant should be in Part 1 and what I need to enter in Part 2 and 3.
Should I print two forms for each child and add them as the applicants?
Should I sign both Part 2 and Part 3 as I'm joint owner and financial sponsor?

Thanks in advance

Part 1 seems to be sufficient. These are data related forms applicable to all types of application. However, for naturalisation/registration there are no financial requirements and sponsorship doesn't apply.

Thank you very much for the reply!

Am I right to think that I will have to submit two forms per each child then?

My understanding is that it is one form per applicant (you are signing on behalf a child).
