Thank you in advance!

Before filling in anything review the AN guidance which sets out the requirements:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... le-version
Apply online here:
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... 1635257670
Follow posts in this forum which touch on all aspects of the application.
Continue posting in this thread if you have queries.

@alterhase58 and anyone, I have a question. Under Good character section of the application process, I have 2 penalty tickets (road traffic) of the same offence from TFL which I challenged and both were CANCELLED by TFL. Do I mention this in the application? Not sure what to do here... Im thinking of adding this on Cover Letter with the application.
Please advise? Thank you

Just to play it safe, you should mention them and explain it in the cover letter.

Declare them, it will not have a negative impact

For 2 referees, I want to use a Project manager (with professional qualification) and a teacher. Hope these referees are ok?

Perfect, even a teacher (to satisfy professional) and a jobless British person over 21 years of age would suffice.

Another question.. In the application, there is a question for previous UK immigration applications made in UK or abroad, how many previous applications do they require? Do i have to list all my previous application since I have been in UK?

It just means you need to state you leave to enter, and all further leave to remain applications you've made up until your indefinite leave to remain.

Ok. I made applications under student visa which I could not remember. How do I approach this?

Anything that allows you to stay here more than 6 months, goes in the list. They are all immigrant visas. Visiting visas are non-immigrant visas.
I'm sure you have a rough idea of when that was. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Another question for documents - Proof of living in the UK for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse of a British Citizen.
What should I use as proof of living in uk? -e.g. Pay slips
Also, Bank statements or household bills are not suitable proof you have been living in the UK.
Please advise?

Thanks @CR001. Note, my passport is not stamped with visas. Hope that will not cause refusal?

Nowhere does it state you have to have visas in your passport
Passport proves residency as your passport would be stamped when you travel and return.

I have not travelled for a long time and my current passport does not have any stamp as it is new. however, my expired passport was stamped.
On the application it states
"If you do not have your passport or it was not stamped when you entered the UK, you need to include letters (for example, from your employer or government department) as proof."
Is it still ok to use this passport and payslips in this case? or include old passport?

As you've already been advised by CR001 your passport would suffice. Whatever passport(s) you have to cover the 5 years. If you've not left the country, it would be evident on your passport.

Hi Moderators , Hope you are well? Appreciate your advise on the follows.
Last month, My Wife and I completed 1 year since holding indefinite leave to remain status in the uk. We plan on applying for British Citizenship in July. A few quick queries.
1) English Language test & Life in the UK test - Please help advise if we can we use the same pass certificates we used when applying for ILR for the British citizenship too? The approved English pass certificate is dated Jan 2021 and Life in the uk was passed in June 2020.
2) Can myself and my wife apply using the same application form or should we submit 2 different application forms
3) Can myself and my wife travel overseas for work and holiday purposes (maximum stay away from uk will be up to 2 weeks per trip) whilst awaiting for a decision after submitting our application for british citizenship
Many Thanks for your help

Best to open your own thread rather than tagging on to someone else's. Then continue posting your queries etc.

Yes to both.
2) Can myself and my wife apply using the same application form or should we submit 2 different application forms
Yes on the same online account - both of you fill in individual forms, i.e. when you or wife have completed your inputs you then add another application. Note they are still individual applications and assessed as such.
3) Can myself and my wife travel overseas for work and holiday purposes (maximum stay away from uk will be up to 2 weeks per trip) whilst awaiting for a decision after submitting our application for british citizenship
Yes you can but best you do the biometrics before travelling, to avoid any delays.
Many Thanks for your help

Hello,
I need advise on pending British citizen application. I applied mid June last month with my brother. He has received update from home office and I'm still to hear from them.
I 'm thinking of email or calling home office for update. Could you advise best contact for home office regarding British Citizenship application?
Thank you!
