Impact on ILR if UK citizenship is refused

If one has an ILR, but their application for UK citizenship is refused, does that have an impact on the ILR? Ie, could the ILR be revoked/cancelled/modified for some reason?

No - ILR is under immigration regulations, naturalisation under the nationality act with separate requirements. ILR would not be revoked in that case, unless it was proven to be obtained fraudulently.

You will retain your ILR as is.
