Travelling using Non-UK passport while waiting for first British passport through naturalization

Dear Colleagues,
My application for naturalization is successful and I have been invited to attend registration ceremony. I am planning to apply for my first Adult British passport after the registration ceremony. I wanted to ask if it is possible to travel outside the UK using my Sudanese passport after applying for British passport without waiting to receive my British passport.

Your Sudanese passport would also be needed to process your new British passport. No way around that.
