Absence 450 or 540 day for 10 year + ILR

hi there,

hope someone can clarify my question.

i have ILR since JUL 2021, and did not spend more than 90 days outside of the UK past 12 months, but i spent 395 days within 5 years, and 570 days within the 10 years.

The ILR received based on 10 years long residence.

when do i apply the citizenship would the absence days rule applicable based on 5 - 450 or 10 years - 540 days in my Application?

2nd question
can the start date of past 12 month would be from the abroad or it has the be a day from uk as start date to count last 12 months - 90 days rule?

Thanks for the clarification
Regards
puki

1. Absences are on 5 years working back from the application date - 10 years ILR is not relevant for this.
2. there's no such requirement for the past 12 months - you can be absent on the first day.
