Dear all,

Would be much appreciated if someone please advise how to apply for British passport after getting nationality.

I have ceremony booked on 21st July. Can I apply online to get British passport? Please advise how to make an application online and which documents needed?

You can apply after the ceremony, from when you are British. Online link: https://www.gov.uk/apply-renew-passport. Documents: Nat. Certificate and uncancelled foreign passport(s) in original (will be returned).

Yes. All uncancelled passports have to be sent, including the current passport.

It's done all online now, they are sent a link to an online form to fill. No printed forms to be signed, or scanned, or sent by post.

You'll receive information on how to do this after you have applied and paid.
