Naturalisation application question

Hi,
Might be a silly question, but you guys are the legends who know all.
I first came to England on a 5y Ancestry visa in 2012, renewed it in 2016, and then applied for ILR in 2021. Now applying for N, and a question reads "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?"
My answer would be yes, correct? And I should supply as much detail as I have about my two other applications for my visas?
Many thanks

Correct - "any" means "all", and provide the details you have, approx dates are fine.

Annnnd also, a new question - asking me to state when I first arrived in the UK. Obviously this should be straightforward, however given that I had the first leg of the visa, then went back to Australia for a year and renewed it upon arrival in 2016, I'm a little confused as to whether I just need to specify from the 2016 date?
It mentions the 5 year qualifying period, so I'm assuming it's just from my 2016 entry date?

Did you leave for good and then changed your mind? In that case it would be from 2016 (not connected with the residency requirement). If the year was a condition of re-applying then perhaps 2012 is the correct year (not familiar with Ancestry). Doubt it makes any difference, not something that you'd be refused on.

I did leave for good, and then changed my mind and came back in 2016 - only had to extend my visa because it was still valid.
Brilliant, thanks for your help!
Naturalisation form question

Hi guys,
I've just submitted my application, and now after it, it requires a data consent form - I'm wondering if I need to get my referees to sign the second sheet, as in this part: PART 2: Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information. Or if I just need to sign the first and second sheet myself.
Grateful for any advice, cheers!

Just sign yourself. It has nothing to do with the referees.

Excellent, thanks so much (and for merging the questions, apologies)
