Dear members,

I am currently holding ILR status since 2019 and my wife is holding spouse visa, I am in preparation to apply for my new born baby's 1st British passport.

What document do we need to process this application ? We have his uk born birth certificates and my documents including passport and ilr brp.

Do we need both side grand parents passports or national ids and their marriage certificate as we do not have those in records as they had never registered the marriage in India.

Is there any priority service available for this application ?

I have submitted the passport application for baby. Now awaiting for identity check by a friend.
I need to post the following documents:
One of the parents passport and brp ilr ( no problem)
Baby birth certificate ( available)
Grand parents original birth certificate /id / marriage certificate ( do not have birth certificate nor marriage certificate, i have got only copies of indian national voting id cards and aadhar card) will that be sufficient )

You do not need the grandparent documents.

Not required as already stated. The same form is used for ALL routes of citizenship. Send ONLY what is relevant to your childs application.
