Hi Team,

As a family, applied for citizenship after 1 year ILR. however got child's citizenship approved. it's mentioned that as below. "Once you have received your certificate of British citizenship any Biometric Residence Permit (BRP card) you have will no longer be valid and cannot be used as evidence of your status." and child doesn't need citizenship ceremony.

After applying citizenship, due to family's needs, had to travel to India as Indian national. can BRP still be used or not when entering UK, in this instance? Please clarify if anyone has idea.

Approval Date: 22 Jul 22.
Travel Date to UK: 08 Aug 22.

If child’s BRP hasn’t expired, then it’s probably okay.
