Hi,

I am a British Citizen and we have just successfully received ILR for my wife. We are now applying for Naturalisation and I needed clarification on a couple of the online form questions. I've detailed the sections and questions I have below.

English Language
Do you have a previous visa, entry clearance or leave to remain where you had to prove your knowledge of English?
Answer: Yes

Tell us the previous visa, entry clearance or leave to remain you had
Answer: FLR(M)

Questions:
- I'm treating my wifes ILR as her current visa so the "previous" visa is FLR(M) in this case. Is this correct or should I be putting "ILR" or even something else here?

Immigration details
We have entered all immigration application details here ie Fiance, 2 x FLR(M) and ILR.

Questions:
- Should we be including tourist visa applications when she visted me before the Fiance visa? I haven't at present as I didn't think these are immigration applications. Also, my wife doesn't have details of exactly when this application was made or when biometrics were taken.
- What reference numbers are acceptable to provide for the previous applications? I have entered the UAN for ILR, Home office case ID's for the 2 x FLR(M) and a different reference number for the Fiance visa which was made outside of the UK.

Not sure whether we need to be so concerned about these answers but just want to make sure everything is on point.

English Language answer: ILR

Immigration details answer: any entry clearance or leave to remain applications are all immigration applications. Include them all. If she doesn’t know the details, then say that she doesn’t know the details.
