Date of application after 12 months with ILR - BST or GMT time?

Hi everyone,

I have a bit clowny situation with my UK naturalisation application.

I got my ILR on Aug 5 2021 and have been counting 12 months to apply for naturalisation. I became eligible to apply for it starting from Aug 6 2022 (as I understood according to HO guidelines and my partner is not British).

Finally, I've sent my online application on Aug 6 2022 at 00:55 BST time (this is literally the moment when I paid for it). As a result, the date of my application in final file (pdf downloaded after completing my application) is "06 August 2022 00:55 British Summer Time (BST)". HOWEVER, I've received email from UKVI (with title "UK visa application: payment confirmation") which states that "Payment successful... Date: 5 Aug 2022".

1) Does it mean that UKVI will consider my application date as 5 Aug 2022? My worries is that I wasn't eligible to apply on that day.

2) If 5 Aug 2022 must be considered as application date, what should I do now? Any suggestion?

I don't believe this is an issue, application system and payment system are normally separate from each other (based on business experience) and may have different date/time stamp configuration. Your application download shows BST and should be the proof - and it's just an hour difference.

If you got ILR on 5th August 2021, you would have been eligible to apply for British naturalisation on 5th August 2022 (provided you were physically present in the UK on 6th August 2017). So you should be fine.
