Dear sir/Madam,

My friend got his naturalization certificate yesterday (12.8.22). His question is about documents to apply British Passport but little confused cuz mentioned in the online application form requirement of Birth Certificate, passport and naturalization certificate. Can he send current passport and old passports? (he got 3 old passports and 1 current passport)?
Please help and advice.

Your friend isn't a citizen yet. He needs to book and attend a citizenship ceremony https://www.gov.uk/citizenship-ceremonies at his local council (or the council he selected when he applied) where he will receive the certificate of naturalisation. He had citizenship ceremony that's why he got Naturalization Certificate.
What about passports? Can he send all 4 passports (current & old).

When he applies, the website will give a list of documents he has to post. His passports and the naturalisation certificate should be OK.
