My daughter who was 17 years old was granted Indefinite Leave to Enter into United Kingdom. She was granted INDEFINITE LEAVE from Outside the country and came to the UK for the first time last year.

Is she qualify to apply for British Citizenship after living in the UK for just one year?

I am a British Citizen and intend to make her Citizenship application from October this year but I am not sure If am making the right decision.

I need your professional advise on this matter.

Many thanks for your help in Advance

I don't belive so no. Children over 13 are expected to have a minimum of 2 years residence before they can apply for citizenship as far as I understand.

Once she reaches 18 years of age, she has to wait 5 years from the date she entered the uk and pass liuk and English B1 tests.
