Submitting a GTV dependent application when MN1 application is pending decision

I have recently acquired ILR status in the UK, and have fully submitted an MN1 application for registering my UK-born baby as a British citizen (submitted online application, paid the fees, uploaded all docs & biometrics done at UKVCAS).

The MN1 application is now pending with the Home Office for a decision & I expect a decision within the next 6 months based on typical processing timelines.

The baby needs to travel outside the UK to my country of origin around mid November 2022, and I intend to submit a GTV dependent visa application while the MN1 form is pending. The baby's mother holds a GTV dependent visa, and I think that we can apply the same for the baby.

However, in the GTV dependent visa for child online application form, it asks:
Other Home Office applications

Do you currently have an application with the Home Office for leave to remain for which you have not yet received a decision?
(Required)

[] Yes []No

If you have submitted any other applications to the Home Office which have not yet been decided then submitting this application varies those previous applications. This means that only this application, which you are now completing, will now be considered.

My questions are;

1. Is MN1 a "leave to remain" application?
2. If I submit the GTV dependent form now, will the submitted MN1 application be treated as withdrawn/cancelled?

1. No

2. No

Citizenship on MN1 is NOT an immigration or leave to remain application!
