Forgot to mention traffic fines on my citizenship application

Hi,

i am applying for citizenship after a year on my ILR. I have already submitted and paid for my application, but haven't yet submitted my biometrics. I just realised I forgot to mention that I have had traffic fine for standing in the yellow box once, that was immediately paid for. This was more than a year ago, and was mentioned on my ILR application.

Can not mentioning this again on my citizenship application cause any problems? Any suggestions if yes?

Thank you.

You can disclose it in your cover letter, and explain you forgot.

What's a cover letter? Is this something I can write and submit as one of the documents?

I you need/want to explain anything in more detail, or add further information (if forgotten for example), you write a note explaining and load with your other documents.
