Nationality status enquiry

Hi,
I applied to nationality with settled status+1 year. Submitted my biometrics end of June, but havent heard anything since then, whereas I see people on this forum who already got approved , eventho they submitted in August. Has anyone had similar kind of experience?

Nationality applications take as long as they take. Some get approvals in a couple of months; some have taken a couple of years. It can depend on various factors such as your immigration history, if you had illegal residence at any point, etc.
The Home Office has a target of processing nationality applications within six months. If you do not get a response or an update by then, you could try speaking to your MP's office to prod the Home Office.

I am in the same timeline as you. I submitted my application on 25th May and done my biometrics on 20 Jun 2022.
I got email in November before saying that following our initial assessment your application might take longer than 6 months as applications taking longer due to covid. Its now been more than 6 months. I dont have bad immigration history. Came here as student left the country and back to country under tier 2 visa. I hope to hear from them soon.
