Hello everyone.
I'm about to apply for naturalisation and my biometric date is next week. I want to check with you all what do I need to provide as proof of living.

1. Proof of living in the UK for 5 years if applying on my own right or 3 years if applying as a spouse of British citizen. I will be apply as a spouse of British citizen.
For this requirement do I need to provide bills, council tax as evidence for 3 years.

2. Asked for a copy of my passport. My passport will expire at the end of this month but my biometric is next week 2 weeks before then. Would it still be classified as valid passport?

Only your passport covering the period - no bills etc.

Yes - passport expiring during the process is not an issue.

Thanks for your reply. Just to be clear, I don't need to present council tax, P60 and other bills in my naturalisation application. Reason why I'm asking. I put a question on a website justanswer and the lawyer there said I need to provide bills dating up to 5 years.

Apologies if I'm asking the same question.
