Hi,
Why is this kind of certificate confer British Citizenship otherwise than by descent ?
Link removed as not all names have been redacted. If you are going to post a document, ALL names must be removed, even the Home Office persons name.
Thanks,

A British citizen "otherwise than by descent" is a British citizen who was born, adopted, naturalised or registered in the United Kingdom or a qualifying territory.

Haven't seen the certificate as it has already been removed, but the law, specifically
Section 14 of the British Nationality Act 1981, lays out which forms of acquisition of British nationality are "British by descent".
Note that even certain forms of registration, listed in subsections (c) through (g) of that Section, only makes the person a British citizen by descent.
For a person born after 1983, any form of acquisition of British nationality not listed in that section confers British citizenship otherwise than by descent.
Assuming that the question follows from the registration of the child mentioned in an
earlier thread by you, and assuming that you followed the advice and resided in the UK with the child for 3 years and registered the child under Section 3(5), then the child would indeed be a British citizen otherwise than by descent, because Section 3(5) registration is not listed in Section 14 linked to above.
Had the child been registered under Section 3(1) or 3(2) instead, then the child would indeed have been a British citizen by descent.

@secret.simon the certificate was a registration as a CUKC dated September 1982. The certificate made absolutely no mention of any section under which the person was registered as a CUKC. Based on the OPs previous posts, not sure who this certificate query relates to.

Thank you,
CR001. The OP, at least the account, seems to be querying various unrelated topics.
To the OP: If you are asking unrelated queries for different people, it would make more sense to ask them to create their own accounts so that they can participate in the conversation.
From your earlier thread about the Section 3(5) registration, you could see that it is not a case of giving one answer, but of having a conversation on the forums to better understand the situation. That is difficult if you are posting the question on behalf of other people.
Ask the people with the queries to post their own queries on separate accounts, as we do see the past post history of the account to also help us advise better.

Both certificates belong to people who were born in Israel before 1983 to mothers that were born in the UK.
