Name typed wrong

Hi,
My wife submitted her naturalisation application and she got her biometric appointment on 6th March 2023,
I have just noticed she made error in her surname Akhter, the correct is Akther,
Kindly let me know how to rectify this, really panicking now.

Write a cover letter addressing this issue, and attach it to your documents uploaded. You can print out the application form, highlight the part(s) she made the error and write the correct spelling beside it.

Handwritten is fine. People make mistakes all the time. Typo's happen with names, postcodes even DOB sometimes.
There's no issue and no punishment for this. Don't over worry yourself. You caught it in time (before biometrics)!
