My child was born in UK, I got ILR after my daughter's birth (so I can apply nationalisation for my daughter).

I got seperation from wife (at that time, she applied asylum)

Now my daughter is living with her mom and I have been contacted by wife's solicitor to apply nationalisation for my daughter based on my ILR.

My question is: can I apply nationalisation for my daughter while she is living with her mom. I have not been given contact yet to my daughter through court. I am waiting. And her mom's asylum has not been decided yet.

Children are registered as British, not naturalised only adults are naturalised.

A UK born child has an entitlement to register as British when either parent gets ILR. Who the child lives with is not relevant.
