Passport Application - Bank Official

Hello,

I have received approval for my naturalisation application providing a referee who works at a Bank, although their job title does not contain 'Bank Official'.

I was wondering if anyone is aware of what Bank Official exactly means? Does this include anyone that works in a bank? Asking as I've seen in forums that several identities were rejected in passport applications.

Thanks in advance!

To my mind a bank official is someone directly involved in the banking business, such as accountants, analysts, management.
What specifically have you regarding bank officials being refused as passport ID confirmers?

Thank your for the prompt reply, alterhase58. What I was reading wasn't directly related with Bank Officials, but I recall reading reports of people who had submitted the same referee as in the naturalisation application and were rejected, unfortunately I cannot recall exactly where I have seen this info..

My referee works within the marketing department of a bank and passed the requirement to act as a professional referee in the naturalisation application. Unfortunately online I couldn't find an 'official definition' except here, where they say 'any Bank employee or director': https://www.lawinsider.com/dictionary/b ... the%20Bank.
