Hi all

Hopefully someone can assist me please.

I have my settle status granted last year and would like to apply for naturalization this year.

However, i would like to have accurate information as i cannot afford to lose £1300

Here are my offences:
- Drink drive offence, disqualification in November 2015
- Speeding offence 3 points & 100 points fine June 2021
- Speeding offence 3 points & 100 points fine February 2023

I would like to know if i have any chance to be viewed as a good character and won't be refused cause of the 3 offences. I'm aware that i have to declare all of them, Any advices please?

Thank You

The drink drive would have been the problem, but it's been a while. So I think you're good on that front.
Speeding offences are few and far between. So it doesn't really show a pattern of disregards for law and order.
However, the latest one is so new, I hesitate to make a conclusive assessment on it.

Naturally speeding should be a heck of a problem. Declare them all. But to be on the safe side, give it 2-6 months before applying.

Also get a bicycle, so that you can't possibly re-offend in the meantime. :)

Thanks for your reply. I’m aiming to apply the 1st of October so the 6 months bracket should be fine. I’ll behave during that time. I’m new to that area soooo but not an excuse I assume my mistakes. Thanks.
