MN1 submitted, but no biometrics letter received

Hi,

I submitted the MN1 application for my son on Jan 23rd of this year. We received an email confirming the application. We then mailed in supporting documents, and have been waiting to receive a letter about how and where to attend a biometrics appointment since then. (The application approval said 'We will contact you regarding your biometric enrolment once your documents have been received.')

We have received no confirmation that the supporting documents were received, nor any letter about the biometrics appointment, and it is now March 11th.

My son's address is in the USA. Am I right in thinking that the letter would be sent there, or would it be an email? Has there been a problem with the application, that we have not heard anything about this yet?

Thanks so much.

I was instructed to mail forms to Merseyside, not submit online

Hi - follow up from previous post...

It seems like some of us who apply for the MN1 are still being instructed to submit documents via mail instead of online.

I applied for the MN1 from the USA on Jan 23rd.

Once my application was accepted I received instructions to MAIL all supporting documents to the Merseyside address in the UK and await contact about the biometrics appointment.

That was 6 weeks ago and no further letters or emails have been received.

I was not given any option of submitting documents online.

Now I read here on the board that that is the ONLY way to submit them and I am very confused and concerned.

Please can anyone help?

If you have sent the required documents to stated address, Hope you could track the courier and it shows it was delivered?
There is no indication something is wrong as Not everyone gets a confirmation or updates from HO till its concluded. At the moment all you can do is to wait and expect to be contacted for biometrics.
