Hello All,
URGENT
Can anyone tell me that when requesting SAR records, can you send an alternative to the signed/certified photo or possibly miss it out? As that will be difficult to do. Many thanks. Anyone with personal experience of SAR request please share your experience as it will be much appreciated.

If you read the checklist carefully you will find that an attested photo is only required if you are unable to provide an ID.
If you can provide a photo ID for. Example a passport or driving licence then that's all that's is required.

Thank you for quick response. I will do that.

I had SAR request, I sent my ID and true likeness copy signed from solicitor as well

Also you need an dated authorization letter. I sent my authorization letter without date, they refused the request then I sent again another letter with date, then they accepted and received my data

Thank you for your help. How long did it take from submitting request to receiving your data? Also has you application been approved now?

I received my data 2 weeks after the request was raised. I got my Citizenship and UK passport as well.

From when you submitted SAR, did you get approved soon after? Like within a month?
