2 children in the same MN1 form

When we apply for both children in the same online form, it requires to provide all the trips outside the country only for the first applicant. When I add the second there is no option to add the trips. Although they have exactly the same trips. Is this normal?
Even if we apply for both of them together, my understanding is that they will be examined seperately and decisions may come at different times. Is that correct?
